  • Developing and implementing ICE emergency plans 

  • Designing and leading student information sessions on emergency plans

  • Drafting petition language and distributing petitions to support trans and international/immigrant worker rights

  • Overseeing student grievances


Student Diversity and Inclusion Committee

  • Coordinating summer reading club 

  • Coordinating social events 

  • Designing annual graduate student wellbeing survey 

  • Analyzing qualitative data from graduate student wellbeing survey

  • Presenting annual graduate student wellbeing survey findings to faculty 

  • Collaborating with leadership to address student needs identified in annual survey

  • Planning colloquium lunches, workshops, social events, and speaker series 

  • Developing Know-Your-Rights trainings in collaboration with local Chicagoland organizers

Responsibilities: 


  • Facilitating town halls to assess Social Area needs

  • Creating centralized resources on area milestones, expectations, and safety protocols

Summer Institute for Social and  Personality Psychology Graduate Organizer | Summer 2025 

Responsibilities:  


  • Organizing schedules and materials 

  • Coordinating attendee check-in/out 

  • Planning opening and closing receptions  

  • Planning attendee social events 

  • Serving as local liaison to attendees

Responsibilities: 


  • Creating application forms, advertising materials, and updating website 

  • Distributing applications via outreach to higher-ed influencers and institutions

  • Organizing applications and coordinating two rounds of application review 

  • Coordinating travel and lodging 

  • Planning two data blitz sessions and four panels each year

  • Creating individualized meeting itineraries and coordinating faculty-attendee meetings 

  • Arranging catered meals for 34+ attendees 

  • Escorting attendees around campus 


Social Area Brown Bag Coordinator

Responsibilities: 


  • Selecting and inviting speakers  

  • Coordinating talk schedule 

  •  Organizing meetings between speakers and faculty 

  •  Preparing itineraries and campus maps for speakers  

  • Filing reimbursement paperwork.
